usain boltUsain Bolt, a 21 years old jamaican runner, beat last Saturday in New York City the 100 meters race world record with 9″72 seconds. He dethroned his compatriot Asafa Powell who had carried out 9″74 seconds in Italy last September.

Saturday, the race profited from a wind of 1,7 meter/second old back but with difficult climatic conditions and rains.
After a world championship silver medail on 200 meters race, this yound runner already promises to make beautiful things in Beijing.

panda beijing china olympic gamesSome giants pandas, which are protected animals in China, were brought in Beijing by plane to be placed in the Beijing Zoo during the next Olympic Games.

The eight pandas, come from search and protection pandas center of Wolong, siting about 20 miles from the last may 12th earthquake center. Pandas was a little nervous after the earthquake, but Wolong Center director said that the eight animals are cured and in good health.

olympicexpoThe Beijing Olympics Torch Relay is in its fourth day in Greece. In the meantime, an Olympics Torch Exposition is also a hot event going on in Maroussi.

Although the Olympic Torch exposition has been going on for several days now in Maroussi, the “Spyros Louis” Olympic Municipal Gallery of Amaroussion still welcomes a lot of visitors every day.

torch relaySix days after the official website for Beijing Olympic Games launched, a themed activity to collect wishes from netizens and a day after the torch lighting ceremony in Olympia, Greece, some 5,000 messages had been posted by netizens from 20 countries, including China, the United States, Greece, France and Germany.

One netizen from Fujian Province in China posted a message welcoming the Olympic Flame and people from all over the world to China for the celebration of happiness.
