It is known that safety during Beijing Games is one of the Chinese primary goals, especially after the rumours of terrorist attacks which weigh on the country.

On this subject, in order to not run any risk, 160 tracker dogs specialized in the explosives detection are awaited in Beijing to reinforce a local team of 44 other dogs.

After one month of intensive drive to target detection suspect or illicit things, all the dogs will be in services on competition sites, logistics centers, airports and residences.

Several races of dog are represented, we could see labradors or shepherds. Besides the local police uses them since 1 year to detect drug in the public places.
